Keynote speech “How to Make Development and Climate Change Policies Clumsier”, by Michael Thompson, IIASA, Austria, and Oxford University, UK

Michael Thompson is an Institute Scholar at the International Institute for Applied Systems Analysis (IIASA), Luxemburg, Austria; and the James Martin Institute for Science and Civilization, Said Business School, Oxford University. He is also a Senior Researcher at the Stein Rokkan Centre for Social Research, University of Bergen, Norway. His research interests include the various ideas of fairness that underpin the different rationalities in global-level decision-making, the theme of Cities as Forces for Good (CFG), as well as development aid and climate change.
